I really like this poem by Sue Sable. Not only did she find a ton of rhymes for that “ound” sound, but it really speaks to what I’ve been feeling as I learn about the inequities we endure now and how my parents fought against the same things 50 years ago. It feels like justice is a pipe dream. Even those nuts at the capital are being punished for the insurrection (as they should be!) but the instigator is chilling on the golf course. It’s not right.
Thank you very much!
